synOdys product lines include:

- Dosimetry , Teledosimetry and Portable Instruments

- Radiation Monitoring System

- Neutron Flux Measurement Systems

- Contamination and Clearance

- NBC equipment and systems

With an impressive coverage of all radiation detection needs, synOdys has a solution for a variety of industries. Whether you belong to Nuclear Power Plants, Homeland Security and First Responders, Medical Industry or Defense, you’ll find that we are the answer you’ve been searching for.

MGP Instruments was created in 1979. The nuclear instrumentation know-how of the company originated with Merlin Gerin Group in 1965

Independent since 1994, MGP Instruments has a wide experience in the radiation monitring, electronic dosimetry, surface contamination monitoring and CBRN systems fields. Its leadership in the first two fields has been strengthened and completed by the joining of the RADOS Technology and MGPI-H&B companies under the synOdys Group.

As early as 2002, following the merger with Hartmann and Braun and RADOS, it became increasingly important to create an "umbrella" to capitalize onto these brand names : RADOS, MGP Instruments and MGPI-H&B and the richness of our cultural differences.

In 2005 , it is incorporated in the MIRION group, owned by American Capital Strategies, Ltd. (Nasdaq: ACAS)
