WSMS personnel chair or maintain key positions on many of the committees that develop the standards that impact our clients. WSMS' experience with these committees has led to the implementation of an Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS). The ISMS is a cost-effective, integrated work process that is highly interactive with all clients (designers, operators) and regulators and provides a substantial cost savings. In 1998, WSMS provided these cost-effective solutions at 15 DOE sites.
WSMS personnel have successfully proven and defended our methods and solutions before:
DOE Field Offices
DOE Headquarters Offices
Nuclear Regulatory Commission
Commercial Nuclear Power Utilities
Defense Nuclear Facility Safety Board
Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards
Advisory Committee on Nuclear Facility Safety
State Environmental Protection Agencies
Emergency Preparedness Offices.
