Short description of the contract or purchase(s)
The Norwegian Institute of Marine Research shall replace 2 of its 3 HPGe detectors and would like tenders for 2 HPGe detectors with electrical cooling systems. The instruments shall be used for gamma spectroscopic analyses of marine environment samples (sediments, seawater and marine organisms) and they must be tailor-made for this purpose. 1 detector shall be optimised for gamma spectroscopic analyses of samples in Marinelli geometry and the other detector shall be optimised for analyses of small sample sizes such as cross sections of sediment cores. The latter detector shall also be used for lead — 210 dating of sediment cores.
