The University of Sheffield wishes to invite tenders for the supply of a Cooperating 2-axis bespoke Positioner/Turntable for use within the Nuclear Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre at Catcliffe, Rotherham.
Scope of Requirement:
The Nuclear AMRC Welding and Materials Group require a fully integrated and cooperating 2-axis bespoke Positioner / Turntable for its Bulk Additive Manufacturing (AM) facility. This is required for Bulk AM and mechanised 5-sided welding.
Tenders are invited for the supply of a new cooperating Positioner that will be integrated with the existing robotic equipment. The new Positioner will replace the existing one and must be compatible with the Bulk AM facility.
