The Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering Department at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust administers a complete personnel dosimetry system for its host trust and also for a number of other healthcare organisations, including Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It purchases dosimeters, distributes them to individual departments, collects dosimeters after the wear period and liaises with the supplier over results. It also collates all dose results and reports to individual departments.
This contract will also be available to University of Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust and costs are being sought for the provision of the system to both trusts.
