Contract description:

The overall objective is to provide the detailed design and engineering of a water treatment facility for Taboshar. The facility shall clean mine water discharging from the obsolete uranium mine at Taboshar, so that the cleaned water can safely be used by the local population for irrigating their crops, for their livestock and eventually also for themselves.
This contract will cover 3 phases:
phase I: detailed design and engineering of the water treatment facility needed at Taboshar;
phase II: assistance during the procurement phase of the supply;
phase III: supervision of the supply of the facility, its construction and installation.

Indicative budget:

450 000 EUR.

Regulation (EU) No 236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action and Council Regulation (Euratom) No 237/2014 of 13.12.2013 establishing an Instrument for Nuclear Safety Cooperation — see Annex A2 of the ‘Practical Guide’.
