Additional information:
A Supplier Information Meeting will be held on 10.12.2015 in London. Any interested suppliers are welcome to attend to obtain further information on the requirement. Suppliers are only allowed one attendee each due to room size limitations.
Going forward, this procurement will be managed electronically via the Crown Commercial Service's eSourcing Suite.
To register an attendee for the Supplier Information Meeting, you must first be registered on the eSourcing Suite.
If you have not yet registered on the eSourcing Suite, this can be done online at https://gpsesourcing.cabinetoffice.gov.uk by following the link ‘Register for CCS eSourcing’. Please note that, to register, you must have a valid DUNS number (as provided by Dun and Bradstreet) for the organisation which you are registering, who will be entering into a contract if invited to do so. Full instructions for registration and use of the system can be found at:
https://ccs.cabinetoffice.gov.uk/i-am-supplier/respond-tender
Once you have registered on the eSourcing Suite, a registered user can express an interest in sending an attendee to the Supplier Information Meeting. This is done by emailing estelle.watts@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk
Your email must clearly state: the name of the procurement you wish to register for; the name of the registered supplier; and the name and contact details for the registered individual sending the email and the name of the attendee for the event, if different. The email will be processed and then the buyer will enable the supplier to access the event online via the e-Sourcing Suite. The registered user will receive a notification email to alert them once this has been done and will be able to confirm a place has been reserved at the event. The time and location of the event will then be provided.
For technical assistance on use of the eSourcing Suite please contact Crown Commercial Service Helpdesk: Freephone: +44 3450103503
If you wish to attend the event, you must register on the eSourcing Suite and send your email by 5 pm on Friday 4.12.2015.
If you are unable to attend the event OR if there are no places left, your ability to respond to the OJEU Contract Notice and participate in the procurement are unaffected. The Contract Notice will be published in early January 2016 and you can register your interest then.
Please do not speculatively attend this event unless you have a keen interest in potentially bidding as spaces are limited. Note the requirements for national coverage and a 24-hour service.
There will be time after the main presentations for networking, with the Home Office team and also with other suppliers, in order that you might form consortia or find subcontractors. We will welcome consortia bids and bids with subcontractors when the tender is issued in early January.
Please indicate in your email to express an interest in attending the event whether you would like your company name and one email address added to our Consortium/Subcontractor List. This list will be shared amongst all suppliers on the list to enable you to form consortia or find a subcontractor in readiness for responding to the tender in early January.
