Reference number: JRC/IPR/2017/G.III.9/0021/OC II.1.2) Main CPV code 31643000 II.1.3) Type of contract Services II.1.4) Short description: The procurement aims at selecting an interested party (or tenderer) that will be the recipient of the donation of the Cyclotron MC 40 and correlated equipment owned by the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission (the Contracting Authority or Donor).
The Cyclotron and ancillary equipment are currently located at the Ispra site of the JRC and is no longer in use since 1.1.2015.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement: The material object of donation is organized in 2 lots or groups: Lot1 Cyclotron main equipment and Lot 2 Ancillary equipment, which quantities and features are described in Technical specifications included in the tender documents available at: https://etendering.ted.europa.eu/cft/cft-display.html?cftId=2137
To be selected as Recipient, tenderers (applicants for donation) must submit an offer (or application) in which they accept all items under Lot 1, while they are free to choose items listed under Lot 2 (see point 3.3 of the Administrative Annex and Offer Form included in the tender specifications).
As a result of the procurement procedure, the Contracting Authority (or Donor) will sign with the successful tenderer a Material Transfer Agreement (also referred to as “Agreement” or “Contract”) that will set out the transfer of property, free of charge,of the equipment subject of donation as well as the performance of services by the Recipient for removal, packing and transport of the equipment, from its current location (see II.2.3 above) to the Recipient premises. The draft Agreement is included in the tender specifications.
