This prior information notice is an invitation to dialogue with the supplier market for a pending procurement of transport for the freight of radioactive material from Bergen to Stavanger, that Sykehusinnkjøp HF shall carry out on behalf of Helse Stavanger HF [Stavanger Health Trust]. Dialogue meetings will be part of the preparation for signing a contract after competition.

The meetings will be conducted individually with each service provider. The objective of these meetings is to gain relevant input from the service providers in the market, to ensure the best possible requirement specification, based on possibilities and the Contracting Authority’s needs.

Description of the procurement:
On behalf of Stavanger Health Trust, Sykehusinnkjøp HF shall carry out a procurement for transport of radioactive isotopes from Bergen to Stavanger. Due to the substance’s short half life, it will be necessary to utilise air transport, as transport by road will take too long. An agreement shall be signed for door to door transport, and vehicle transport must therefore also be involved. Initially it is desirable to only sign one agreement with a service provider who will be responsible for the entire transport chain, but we are open to input in relation to this as we do not know the market well enough. Transport will be required several times per week.

We want to discuss possible solutions and requirements with the market, and therefore extend invitations to dialogue meetings 8.3.2018. The dialogue meetings will take place at Sykehusinnkjøp’s premises at Torgveien 21 in Stavanger. The meetings will be carried out with one service provider at a time, and approximately 1 hour will be set aside per service provider.
