Reference number: DLSITT0398 II.1.2) Main CPV code 38000000 II.1.3) Type of contract Supplies II.1.4) Short description: High precision photon beam diagnostics are increasingly important for beamlines at Diamond Light Source (DLS) and at other synchrotrons worldwide. The current state-of-the-art technology in terms of monochromatic X-ray beam position monitors (XBPMs) are single crystal CVD diamond quadrant detectors, capable of measuring beam position with resolutions of 0,1 % of beam size at kHz bandwidths and 10 micron beam sizes, or of making measurements at bunch-by-bunch rates.
The scope of the contract is to design, manufacture, supply, and deliver diamond XBPMs, subject to a Performance Specification outlined in our Tender Specification.

Please note that DLS may require further deliveries of items described in this specification in the near future. Notwithstanding the period of validity for the acceptance of tenders, tenderers should confirm that the price quoted in their tender is valid for 12 months from the date of any contract, or, submit details of a price fluctuation mechanism that can be applied.
