Short description:
Das General Machine Timing System für FAIR erfordert eine Zeitsynchronisation von einigen 1 000 Knoten mit einer Genauigkeit von einer Nanosekunde oder besser. Dies wird durch das White Rabbit (WR) Protokoll [1] erreicht. Die Knoten sind in einem Ethernet Netzwerk durch White Rabbit Switche (WRS) [2] miteinander verbunden. Der WRS ist ein offenes Hardware Design eines 18 Port Ethernet Switches, welcher unter der CERN Open Hardware License [3] Lizenziert ist.

Die Spezifikationen müssen erfüllt werden. Insbesondere beinhaltet dies:

— WRS in Übereinstimmung mit dem Open Hardware Repository [4],

— WRS Version 3.4 [5].

Die Vergabestelle akzeptiert folgende Arten der Angebotsabgabe:

Die bei der Vergabestelle einzureichenden Angebotsunterlagen sind 2-fach in Papierform sowie 1-fach elektronisch auf CD/DVD, in einem verschlossenen Umschlag fristgerecht bei der Vergabestelle einzureichen. Der Versandumschlag ist mittels des in den Vergabeunterlagen enthaltenen „Angebotskennzettels“ zu kennzeichnen und mit dem Firmennamen und Firmenanschrift zu beschriften.
