The unit JRC G.I.4 is planning to build new pneumatic bellows-based experimental facilities in Amalia (AssessMent of nucleAr power pLants core InternAls) and Lilla (Liquid Lead Laboratory), upgrade or modify the currently installed pneumatic bellows-based devices for “Environmentally-Assisted Cracking tests” (henceforth, the devices) in environments simulating conditions of Light Water Reactors (LWR) and of Gen IV concepts such as Alfred (European Lead Fast Reactor Gen IV concept) and Myrrha (Multi-purpose hYbrid Research Reactor for High-tech Applications).
