The scope of the contract is to provide electromagnetic analysis of different ITER components and support to improve already existing electromagnetic models. In particular the main scope of the contract is the electromagnetic analysis of ITER components under fast and slow electromagnetic transients. For some task orders the supplier will be requested to perform the subsequent coupled mechanical analysis of the component under study subject to electromagnetic forces.

The tender procedure aims to conclude 2 framework contracts in cascade (without re-opening of competition) for the supply of engineering support in the area of electromagnetic analysis of ITER components. The framework contract(s) will be implemented though task orders resulting in specific contracts. The contractor(s) shall provide support for the development of design and analysis starting from the present baseline of the ITER project up to the level required for manufacturing and construction.
