II.1.5) Estimated total value II.1.6) Information about lots This contract is divided into lots: no II.2) Description II.2.1) Title: II.2.2) Additional CPV code(s) II.2.3) Place of performance NUTS code: UK II.2.4) Description of the procurement: Newcastle University Imaging centre will undertake a program of redevelopment that will facilitate the production of novel and routine PET radiopharmaceuticals to EU-GMP standards, with a view to becoming a licensed MHRA facility.
This contract will be for the supply and installation of 2 vertically stacked Synthesis (mini) cells, one dispensing cell and a closed vial dispenser system, with an option of an additional full-size synthesis hotcell if budget permits.
The Hotcells will be installed in the PET Tracer Production Unit cleanroom and is anticipated to utilize the existing HVAC system. Radiotracers will be manufactured using an ORA Neptis synthesis platform, that will be installed in the synthesis cells. purified tracers will be directed to the dispenser equipment in the Grade A dispensing cell via sterile transfer mechanism.
