II.2.4) Description of the procurement: Supply of radiation protection services
Lot 1: Radiation Protection Expert Service Support: scientific, technical and documental support in order to ensure RP according to Italian legislation, RPE policy and directives and license prescriptions. The contractor has to provide support mainly in the definition of JRC-Ispra RP policy and directives and in the monitoring of their correct implementation through analysis of RP matters. In particular, contractor will perform risk assessment, using also numerical and conceptual analyses, will define RP programmes, will keep the RP register and personal dosimetric records and will upkeep the accountancy of nuclear and radioactive materials and the organisation of transports of dangerous goods. For all aspects mentioned above the contractor also has to provide support in the management of related technical documents. Some limited works of research/studies/technical reporting are foreseen off-site at the contractor's premises.

II.2.4) Description of the procurement: Supply of radiation protection services
Lot 2: Operational Radiation Protection and Laboratories Assistance: scientific, technical and documental assistance order to ensure RP according to Italian legislation, to RPE policy and directives and to license prescriptions. Mainly the contractor has to provide assistance in the monitoring of the correct implementation of such policy and directives. In particular contractor has to perform in-field and laboratory radiation measurements and start-up and maintenance of radiation detection instruments. For all aspects mentioned above the contractor also has to provide assistance in the management of related technical documents. Some limited works of research/studies/technical reporting are foreseen off-site at the contractor's premises.
