Am GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung wird derzeit eines der größten internationalen Forschungszentren unter dem Namen FAIR errichtet. Für dieses Vorhaben benötigt die GSI Abteilung Strahldiagnose für ihre Messdatenerfassungsysteme sogenannte 19 Zoll Schränke, die mit fortschreitendem Baufortschritt beschafft und in die neuen Gebäude eingebracht werden sollen. Hierzu möchte GSI einen Rahmenvertrag mit einem Hersteller solcher Schranksysteme abschließen. Neben dem Bedarf der GSI sollen auch drei internationale Partner im festgelegten und geringen Umfang zu gleichen Konditionen für FAIR bestellen dürfen, um ihren Anteil an FAIR erfüllen zu können. Zur Vergleichbarkeit der Angebote werden zwei Sorten an 19 Zoll Schränken mit definierter Stückzahl und Abnahmegarantie angefragt. Neben dem üblichen Portfolio an Zubehör, so z.B. Schubladen, Fachböden, Steckdosenleisten und Ventilatoren.
