The Royal Marsden Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (the “Authority”) is issuing this OJEU Contract Notice as a prior information for its intention to publish an invitation to tender (“ITT”) for the procurement of a Radiation Dosimetry Service for the Trust. Trust intends to have a contract with the successful bidder for a period of 5 years, which may be extended further for a period of 2 years on annual basis only on Trust’s discretion.

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a world leading cancer centre that delivers specialist in- patient and out-patient care across 2 sites. The Royal Marsden Radiation Protection and Dosimetry Service (RMRP) has for many years provided an Approved Dosimetry Service to the hospital, and to a number of external customers. It has now been decided that the Trust outsource the provision of its Dosimetry service for the hospital (not for our external customers) to an external provider.
