Short description:
The JRC intends to sign 4 insurance contracts covering fire, natural and industrial hazards and material damage to nuclear and non-nuclear installations at 4 JRC research sites (Geel, Ispra, Karlsruhe and Petten). The insurance must cover the buildings (inactive nuclear reactors, nuclear laboratories, offices, welfare services, non-nuclear laboratories) and their content (machinery and equipment, laboratory instruments and consumables, fissionable material, furniture and other goods). There is one lot for each JRC site: the premium is calculated with the "replacement cost value", the current cost to replace an item or structure as new. Each candidate can submit a request to participate for one or more lots.
