Belgatom is an Architect-Engineer and Consulting-Engineer. It is the sales and marketing vehicle for the nuclear engineering capabilities of its shareholders, Suez-Tractebel and Belgonucleaire.
Contracts signed by Belgatom are executed with its partners, Tractebel Engineering and/or the engineering division of Belgonucleaire.
Belgatom and its partners have a staff of 3 300 among which more than 500 graduate engineers and technical experts with a considerable experience in energy and nuclear technology gained over more than forty years. In addition to the specific requirements of the nuclear sector, Belgatom and its partners are certified ISO 9001:2000.
The context in which Belgatom has been working for many years and, more particularly, the opening of the Belgian market to international competition, as well as Belgatom’s involvement in overseas projects and assignments, give the company unique skills and experience.
Belgatom is totally independent, and therefore able to offer unbiased consultancy, putting the customer’s interests first.
