Kellett Enterprises, Inc.

Kellett Enterprises, Inc. was established in 1960 for the purpose of manufacturing and distributing textile machinery, accessories and supplies. The company was woman owned and family operated from the beginning and remains so today with the second generation now holding the corporate officer’s titles and handling the day to day operations of Kellett. Located in the beautiful upstate area of Greenville, South Carolina, Kellett owns and operates a building comprising 16,000 sq. feet of manufacturing and office space.

Over the years, the company held many patents for products used in the textile industry but in late 1960, Kellett Enterprises, Inc. developed and patented the LP-13 Shake Absorber® Vibration and Isolation Pad, which today is still sold globally and recommended by many of today’s large weaving machinery and other OEMs. The LP-13 Shake Absorber® pad was the first three-layer shake absorber patented in the United States. It is designed to effectively absorb vibration that causes excessive wear, production downtime, and reduces machinery noise. The LP-13 Shake Absorber® Vibration Isolation Pads is custom cut, NOT CUSTOM PRICED, to meet customers' requirements.

KE Products Include:

LP-13 Shake Absorber® Vibration Isolation Pads
KE Shake Away™ PLUS Pads For Residential Use
LP-13 Lite Cushion

When vibration isolation is essential to the success of your next project, are the dynamic characterization terms of pressure sweep, frequency sweep, amplitude, equipment, test fixture, co efficiency of friction and temperature tolerances important to you?

Every machine vibrates, causing systems and components to break down. By combining proper alignment and our vibration isolation pads, machines will reach peak performance. RPM’s can be increased to maximum levels.

Machine alignment alone cannot always resolve the problem. Sometimes even after a machine or piece of equipment is aligned, the building’s floor structure allows vibration to reverberate between the floor and the machine.

This is where the LP-13 Shake Absorber(R) Vibration Isolation pad provides an effective resolution to this problem. The LP-13 Shake Absorber® pad has been called many things: vibration pad, vibration isolation pad, vibration isolator, damping or dampening pad, machine mounting pad, shake or shock absorber. Our pad was the first three-layer shake absorber patented in the United States. This product converts mechanical energy into a small amount of heat energy, and that in effect prevents the transfer of vibration between the equipment any contact points with the custom neoprene blend developed in the 1960's.
