Kidd’s Transport is a long-established and successful haulage firm offering road transport and distribution services around the UK. The company was originally founded in 1952, becoming a limited company in 1979. We have experienced steady growth and now has a fleet of more than 30 vehicles ranging from light vans to tankers and 44 ton articulated lorries, serving businesses mainly in the Lancaster and wider LA postcode area. The business operates from a depot strategically situated very near to M6 Junction 34 at Lancaster.
As well as general haulage, Kidd’s specialises in the movement of hazardous goods – liquids and solids – in packaged containers and tanks.
Distribution throughout Europe is offered through membership of the Palletways network, where Kidd’s owns the franchise for the LA postcode.
Kidd’s has two further areas of operations: - a 90,000 sq ft / 8,000 sq m warehouse offering bulk storage facilities for businesses - a workshop that maintains Kidd’s own fleet of vehicles and provides repairs and maintenance to other transport operators.
