Provision of specialized equipment to manage transport accidents with dangerous goods aimed for first responders in the African Atlantic Façade (AAF) and North Africa and Sahel (NAS) regions (AAF: Benin, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, Liberia, Mauritania, Morocco, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo; NAS: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Tunisia).

Indicative number and titles of Lots
One single lot is foreseen for this contract, which is divided into the following components:
1— provision of CBRN equipment and associated services for each beneficiary country,
2— provision of spare parts and /or consumables with associated one-year maintenance.

May 2018

Additional information
Most of this equipment is of dual use nature and must obtain permits normally needed for its delivery in each country.

Legal basis
Regulation (EU) nº 236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action and Regulation (EU) nº 230/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 establishing an instrument contributing to stability and peace.

There must be a minimum period of 30 calendar days between the publication of this prior information notice and the publication of the corresponding contract notice.
