Lot No: 10 II.2.2) Additional CPV code(s) 80531000 80532000 80550000 II.2.3) Place of performance NUTS code: UK II.2.4) Description of the procurement: Building upon the success of previous national frameworks across the Fire and Rescue Sector, Kent Fire and Rescue Service will be leading on a collaborative project to establish a UK wide framework for the provision of fire specific training suitable for all UK Fire and Rescue Services. Our intention is to let a framework that is flexible and non-prohibitive for Fire and Rescue services to sign up to.
There have been recent changes to the National Operational Guidance which provides Fire and Rescue Services with guidance about the operational tactics that should be used by firefighters. This guidance leads to improved consistency in operational policies and working practices of the Fire and Rescue Service at operational incidents. This Framework will build upon, and be aligned with this guidance to deliver a National Training Framework.

VI.3) Additional information: We are currently in the early stages of developing our requirements for this Framework and would like to engage with all interested Suppliers to share our plans and early requirements to ensure that the Framework is fit for purpose and is aligned to current and emerging market capability. This Prior Information Notice is therefore a call for interest from potential Suppliers, with a view to assisting in developing the requirements for a successful competition process. This Notice is to also inform the market that we are planning to hold supplier engagement sessions Nationally in the UK from April 2018 on the following dates:

3.5.2018 in London
9.5.2018 in Nottinghamshire
