Short description:
Diagnostics Magnetics Inner Vessel Coils (IVC) are inductive magnetic sensors to measure local magnetic field in various frequency ranges. They are located on the inner surface of the ITER Vacuum Vessel (VV) in a high vacuum environment and nominal operating temperature of 150º C. The IVCs include 6 assemblies with each assembly comprising of a sensor head (pick-up coil) and a platform (i.e., scope does not include manufacturing of sensor heads). The scope of contract includes:

— preparation for manufacture of IVC platforms,

— manufacture of IVC platforms,

— integration of F4E supplied sensor heads into the platforms, and

— testing, cleaning, packaging and delivery.
