UKAEA now wish to amalgamate the two current contracts. The new contract will be for 3 years with an option to extend for up to a further 3 years on an annual basis. UKAEA will not guarantee the number of ASWs required under the contract.

UKAEA is looking for a supplier who can meet the challenges of recruiting and retaining high quality blue and white collar agency supplied workers in the science and engineering sector. The supplier will be responsible for sourcing and retaining workers, day-to-day management of the contract and provision of an e-recruitment and timesheeting system. To manage this contract, the supplier will be required to provide an embedded onsite team as well as support from senior offsite management. In addition, the supplier must be able to provide legislative advice and training sessions to UKAEA managers.

UKAEA wish to invite all interested suppliers to a bidders day on the 19.2.2019 to give suppliers a chance to learn more about this opportunity. This event will be structured into two sessions, the morning session will include a presentation by UKAEA including details of UKAEA’s requirements, the procurement process and scope and indicative timelines. In the afternoon, UKAEA will hold meetings with any interested suppliers to answer any specific questions, these sessions will be held on a bilateral basis and will not form part of the procurement process. If you wish to attend this event please email Maili Nugent@ukaea.uk by 13.2.2019 to register your interest and confirm whether you wish to book a bilateral meeting.
