Description of the procurement:
Am GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung wird derzeit eines der größten internationalen Forschungszentren unter dem Namen FAIR (Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research) errichtet. Für dieses Vorhaben benötigt die GSI, Abteilung Strahldiagnose, für ihre Messdatenerfassungsysteme direkt einsatzfähige microTCA Komplettsysteme. MicroTCA ist ein Standard des PICMG-Konsortiums, der als modulares Busssystem für Datenerfassung, z. B. auch in der Telekommunikation und Medizin eingesetzt wird. Der Standard wurde für die Physik-Institute maßgeblich von DESY in Hamburg zum Standard MTCA.4 und kürzlich zu MTCA.4.1 weiterentwickelt. Diese Systeme sollen entsprechend der Spezifikation angeboten werden.
