Hydropress provide design services, R&D for VVER type reactors and fast breeders. This includes participation in safety assessment studies of NPPs. Presently develop VVER-1000, VVER-500 reactors and a lead/bismuth cooled 6-12 MW reactor.
More specifically, they develop: .steam Generators for VVER and fast breeders .dosimeters .drum-separators for RBMK type reactors .radiation protection equipment .technical means providing reactor safety and control of NPPs .control systems for pre-operation and in-operation survey of power plants and diagnostics devices .automated systems, for non-destructive control of fuel rods .different control systems for power plant operation .annealing of ractor vessels
Guidropress operates a large number of rigs and test facilities to support their activities.
